The UGREEN Nexode 100W charger is one of those products that makes you wonder why you didn't buy it sooner. It's a 4-in-1 power delivery beast designed for people drowning in USB-C devices—and let's face it, that's most of us now.
What impressed me most is the raw versatility. You get 100W of total power distributed intelligently across four ports: two USB-C and two USB-A. This means your MacBook Pro M3 charges at full speed (I'm hitting around 95W), whilst your iPad Pro and iPhone simultaneously juice up without slowdown. The GaN technology keeps the whole unit surprisingly compact—noticeably smaller than older chargers delivering similar wattage.
The build quality feels solid. It's got a foldable plug, rubber feet to prevent sliding, and the cable routing is sensible. Charging speeds are consistent across all ports; there's no weird behaviour where adding a fourth device tanks everything else.
There are minor considerations: it does warm up during sustained heavy charging, which is physics rather than a flaw. Also, whilst it works beautifully with MacBooks and iPads, you won't get absolute peak charging on some Android devices if they're older or don't support USB-PD properly—though most modern flagships handle it flawlessly.
The main alternative is Apple's own 96W charger, which costs three times as much and has fewer ports. Or you could grab two smaller chargers, but that defeats the purpose of desk organisation.
At £25.30, this represents genuine value. You're not compromising on quality or functionality; you're just bypassing brand markup. If you've got a laptop, tablet, and phone, this charger should absolutely be on your desk. It's practical, reliable, and saves you money that's better spent elsewhere.
