Review

The Ninja Foodi MAX is a genuinely capable kitchen appliance that punches well above its current price point. At £137.87, you're getting a dual-zone air fryer with 9.5L total capacity—essentially two independent drawers that can run simultaneously at different temperatures, which is a game-changer if you're cooking for multiple people or meal-prepping.

What impressed me most was the build quality and versatility. Six cooking functions (air fry, Max Crisp, roast, bake, reheat, dehydrate) cover most everyday needs without requiring separate gadgets. The Max Crisp feature genuinely works—it produces noticeably crispier results than standard air-frying, particularly with chips and chicken wings. Both baskets are non-stick and dishwasher-safe, which removes the biggest friction point with air fryers—the tedious hand-washing.

The dual-zone system is brilliant in theory and practice. You can roast vegetables in one drawer while air-frying protein in the other, both finishing simultaneously. That said, there's a learning curve: you'll need to understand how temperature settings sync between zones, and preheating requires a bit of planning.

Potential drawbacks: it's substantial—not ideal if counter space is premium. Capacity, whilst generous, isn't industry-leading. Some users report the touchscreen can feel laggy occasionally, though mine's been responsive. For families of 4-6, this is ideal; for singles or couples, you might find the dual-zone less essential.

At 28% off, this represents fair value compared to single-zone competitors and significantly undercuts other dual-zone models. The combination of versatility, build quality, and current pricing makes it genuinely worth considering, particularly if you meal-prep or cook for groups regularly.
