The Ninja Foodi FlexDrawer is one of the more thoughtfully designed air fryers I've tested, and at 26% off, it's worth serious consideration. Here's what actually matters: the dual zone functionality with that removable divider genuinely solves a real problem. Rather than cooking two separate loads, you can air fry salmon on one side whilst roasting vegetables on the other, then adjust temperatures independently. The 10.4L capacity is substantial—this isn't a compact unit pretending to feed four people.
The build quality feels premium. The drawer mechanism is smooth, the non-stick coating is even, and the copper accents don't feel like aesthetic nonsense. It runs quiet enough for everyday use, and preheating takes roughly three minutes. The seven cooking modes span air fry, roast, bake, crisp, dehydrate, reheat, and keep warm—though honestly, you'll use air fry and roast 80% of the time.
Some context: if you primarily cook for one or two people in a small kitchen, this might be overkill. The footprint is considerable. Also, whilst 10.4L sounds vast, dense foods (whole chickens, thick steaks) still require thoughtful arrangement. Performance-wise, it crisps exceptionally well and maintains moisture better than budget models—frozen chips are genuinely excellent.
Where it edges out competitors: Cosori's equivalent model is similarly priced but has slightly less capacity and no dual zone. Philips Premium models cost £50-100 more. The removable divider is genuinely clever—you can use the full drawer or split it, depending on what you're cooking.
The honest drawback: it requires counter space and a 13A socket. Cleaning is straightforward thanks to dishwasher-safe components, though I hand-wash the drawer itself to prolong the non-stick coating.
At £165, you're getting excellent versatility and build quality. This justifies the investment if you use it regularly. For busy households or anyone hoping to reduce oven use, it's a smart purchase.
