The Shark Klik n' Flip S6003UK is a handheld steam mop designed specifically for hard floors, and it genuinely impressed me for the price. What makes it stand out is the dual-mode functionality—you get both a standard cleaning mode and a Steam Blaster setting for stubborn marks, which sounds gimmicky but actually works surprisingly well on dried spills and scuffs. The intelligent steam control automatically adjusts output based on what you're cleaning, which keeps the floors from getting oversaturated.
Setup is refreshingly simple. The 350ml tank heats up reasonably quickly, and the flip mechanism between pads is genuinely convenient if you're moving between rooms. You get two microfibre pads that are machine washable, which saves money on replacements—though honestly, I wish they'd thrown in a third one. The 6-metre cord is adequate for most living spaces, though you'll need to plan your route in larger kitchens.
The main limitation is capacity. That 350ml tank runs out faster than you'd hope on bigger floors, so you'll be refilling fairly often. It's not a replacement for a full-sized steam mop if you've got 3+ bed homes, but for flats, kitchens, or bathroom tiles, it's perfect. The build feels durable enough, though the lightweight plastic does feel a tad cheap compared to premium brands.
At £67.50, you're saving nearly £48 from the RRP, which makes this a genuinely competitive buy. It's not revolutionary, but for quick, chemical-free cleaning of hard floors without breaking the bank, this Shark offers excellent value. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to sidestep expensive cleaning products and prefer something faster than mopping but simpler than a full robotic solution.
