The eufy E25 Omni represents a genuine sweet spot in the robot cleaner market—it's trying to do everything, and mostly succeeds without breaking the bank. At its core, you've got a combination vacuum and mop that actually lifts the mop pads when vacuuming (rather than dragging wet bristles across carpets), which is a thoughtful design choice that matters in real homes. The 20,000 Pa suction is respectable for this price bracket; it won't match flagships, but it's sufficient for most household dust, pet hair, and debris across both carpets and hard floors. The HydroJet system keeps the mop pads regularly hydrated during a clean, theoretically maintaining mopping effectiveness across your entire floor—something cheaper models simply don't attempt.
The all-in-one station is the real convenience play here. It auto-empties the dust bin, washes the mop pads with hot water, and air-dries everything, meaning you're genuinely hands-off. For someone balking at manual maintenance, this justifies the upfront cost. The corner-to-edge cleaning and zero-tangling claims are backed by decent engineering—I've not experienced the trademark robot-hair-wrap problem, and it does push into edges better than budget competitors.
There are compromises. The app feels slower than newer Roborock or Dreame offerings, and initial setup involves more manual intervention than I'd prefer. Noise levels are acceptable but not whisper-quiet. Battery life is decent but not extraordinary for larger homes. The mapping software works but lacks the sophistication of premium rivals.
At £499 (29% off RRP), you're paying less than dual-function models from established brands whilst getting proven eufy reliability. It's ideal for flat-dwellers and smaller homes wanting serious convenience without premium pricing. I'd recommend it, with the caveat that perfectionist types might eventually crave more app control and premium performance.
